For education agents
Give your students more than a Master of Information Technology.
HEA gives agents a different study-to-career proposition: a recognised Master of Information Technology with Professional Edge delivered alongside it from the beginning.
Students build advanced IT knowledge while developing professional readiness, workplace confidence, employer connections and evidence of capability.
For agents, the proposition is supported by clear course-fit guidance, responsive admissions, practical resources and direct access to the HEA team.

Why recommend HEA
A different offer to recommend
HEA connects postgraduate IT study with professional direction, structured development and employer connection — giving agents a more complete proposition to discuss with suitable students.
01
A clearer basis for course fit
By connecting postgraduate study with professional direction and structured development, HEA helps agents identify students for whom the course represents genuine progression. This supports a more considered recommendation and helps the student articulate a credible study rationale through the Genuine Student process.
02
Support that helps students stay the course
Professional preparation, coaching, mentoring and employer connection continue alongside the degree. This supports students’ study-to-career goals and professional-development needs, helping them maintain momentum and progress towards course completion.
03
A stronger platform for graduate employment
Students who secure paid, course-relevant roles can build Australian work experience, professional relationships, references and evidence of capability while they study. Those assets remain with the student — giving them a stronger platform from which to pursue relevant opportunities with that employer or another, in Australia or their home country.
Access to roles is subject to student readiness, suitable role availability, employer selection and applicable visa working conditions.
Who the course may suit
Helping you identify suitable students
The Master of Information Technology may suit:
- graduates seeking a postgraduate IT qualification and clearer professional direction
- career-movers whose prior study or experience supports genuine progression into IT
- students who value applied learning, individual preparation and the flexibility to specialise or build broader IT capability
Entry requirements and Genuine Student criteria apply to every application.
